Questions
Hi everyone!
I'm trying to find a Shojo manga I loved when I was 13. Unfortunately, I can't find this specific one, and obviously, I can't remember the name.
It's a one-shot or a really short story (5 chapters max) about a girl and a boy. They are high school classmates who are nothing alike. They end up shrinking because of some weird Valentine's Day chocolate. The rest of the story follows their journey as Lilliputians trying to figure out a way to get their normal height back.
Does anyone know the title?
For some reason i can remember the name of this manga is girl that likes vintage stuff and hides from her friend because they like trend stuff than she starts going to this coffe shop that one of her classmates work at and they ended up having a cute romance i think i remember he kissing her during a fever or something like that
What’s your favorite trope (plot/character design wise) and why? What does this say about you? I think the reason so many of us indulge in BL so much is the desire for love to exist (for us and others!) but I’m super curious about the specifics for you guys! An easy example is isekai as escapism lol
* virginXvirgin- i like perfectionism. i like the idea of "first and last", the "only" love forever types. its my fav trope.
i like BLs i like seeing men falling in love with men, it's kinda high stakes in a somewhat misogynist society? like, i like the "equal"ness of it.
* buff handsome "masculine" personality bottoms x pretty
lean "feminine" personality tops (in BLs, in GLs as well. i like sub butches as bottoms and dom femmes as tops) something abt defying the stereotypical gender binary notion and flipping the script 180 degrees.
* i love when the characters are obsessive jealous possessive and not really healthy you know? clingy, seperation anxiety codependency ALL THAT. yearning behaviour mutual pining from both sides.
Any BL/Yaoi guide verse recs ! Pls ! :3
Someone started a thread with Guide recs here https://www.mangago.me/home/mangatopic/22994837/

Historical Fantasy / Supernatural / Came out around vaguely 2024-2026
Female lead has to work as a maid/attendant in a big mansion that hosts supernatural beings, like vampires, ghosts and big ass bumblebees/wasps that speak. The mansion is owned by a duke that intentionally protects these supernaturals. When Female lead was first hired, she had caught the interest of one of the residents of the mansion while strolling in her town home, she took what seemed to be a flyer for the job because it paid a lot. If she had failed the interview or rejected the job they would've erased her memories. They make her and other attendants wear magical necklaces/jewerly incase of danger.
Some of the prominent figures in the manhwa:
The vampire family: Consists of two children(?), an older sister and brother and a mother. They are mericless and I think attempt to get rid of her (?). She has to tend them very carefully at night with specific rituals.
There's probably a werewolf.
A ghost servant co-worker (?).
A whole greenhouse full of sentinet large bugs: In one episode there was tensions between two/more different species of bugs and she had to go deal with it.
There's a ton more supernaturals, I just read the first 12 chapters and forgot the title.
I need something like the broken ring; this marriage will fail anyway… ╥﹏╥
anything that has a well written plot, green flag submissive ml/fl, strong fl that has self respect and wont just break for a man, mutual pining/yearning and love, no toxicity between the main couple, well done angst and story???
i dont know what "healthy love" is. i love reading codependent, jealousy, obsession, possessive love stories that are tragic and codependent to catastrophic degree, the type where when the person loses their sense of self (if they had any) after the other person leaves. it's like, i love when the characters make the other person their life. like, they never comprehend the other person as a seperate individual human being, they consider them two to be a single entity almost. like, i love peak obsessive yearner stories. and bonus if it's queer. eg: firefly wedding, yuwon everlasting(BL), satosugu (jjk)
why am i like this? i dont think this is healthy, BUT this is exactly what i want in a relationship. i like the codependent yearning mutually obsessive toxic to the world, "they won't understand it" type of relationship.
I feel you(=´∀`)人(´∀`=) unfortunately the closest I’ve gotten was not fun.. one side usually likes the other more. As for me, it’s hard to accept anyone liking me to that degree without it feeling like they’re delusional about who I actually am, so it doesn’t feel like they’re delusional actually like me, just some fantasy concept that doesn’t exist
Does anyone remember this one manhwa,I'm not sure if it's bg or bl,I just remember it wasn't gl.I barely remember it but I remember it had color so a manhwa probably and like I think one of the main mls or maybe the ml had a sort of photo studio and the mc was a sort of model?I'm not sure,I just remember the mc was hesitant to be a model for the photo shoot ,I read this years back and I never finished it

But why, WHY did he go see that bastard? He wanna know the truth, but as was said: it's not his story to tell!
At the very least he should have turned around and waited until after the press conference his dad specifically asked him to watch, where he's supposed to reveal some pretty important stuff!
There, I'm not wasting any more energy being frustrated at this till next chapter
