The story begins with a guy whose sister was playing a fantasy RPG/game. He suddenly wakes up as the black-haired villain prince, who is destined to die. The prince’s mother is an evil queen who mistreats the blond male lead, who is supposed to become the story’s hero.

Knowing the original story, the MC tries to avoid his death by treating the blond protagonist kindly instead of becoming the villain. A large portion of the beginning (around the first 20–30 chapters) focuses on them as children, and it’s a really wholesome childhood arc before there’s a time skip. After the time skip, the blond male lead returns from war/training, and the romance gradually develops.

Other details I remember:

* The MC has black hair.
* The male lead has blond hair.
* There was another important character with glasses (I think his name might have been Grant or something similar).
* There was also a red-haired, tan/brown-skinned knight.
* The title starts with the letter A
