Hey, I'd finished reading the first season of this one yaoi manhwa on bato just before it went down, and I haven't been able to find it again.
ML was a stoic gangster and MC was a somewhat unhinged but cheerful guy who just joined the group. They had known each other in high-school, but for some reason one of them couldn't remember the other? Both MC and ML had dark hair.
I feel like there's more than one story fitting this description, but please drop any you can think off. Thank you!

I remember the cover is a guy wearing a star costume on his head. Like those mascots but it's only the head with a costume on. The MC is a rich guy. Now i forgot the reason but MC decided to live with the homeless people who live under the bridge. He lives with the girl(the FL?) who is mentally ill. She thinks of him as her husband even though they are not married. She also thinks that she's an alien and that her home planet is saturn or jupiter(I don't remember which). The star head guy is also one of them homeless people there. The other ones are a guy who got a kappa costume on and lives in the water below, the guy who only walks on lines so he got his own line marker wherever he goes he puts lines before walking there, there's also a muscular guy with a nun costume on who lives in a makeshift chapel(he's an ex-soldier so he's carrying guns too), and there are others but i forgot. They all live under the bridge and they all seem to be delusional/mentally ill.

I noticed angst manhwa female leads almost always fall into one of these two types.
1. The villainess reincarnate.
She's smart, manipulative, and willing to control people's perceptions if it means staying alive. She'll lie, scheme, and create the perfect public image but not because she's evil, but because the world gave her no other choice.
2. The saint.
She's genuinely kind and chooses to believe that fate, karma, or simple goodness will eventually set things right. She suffers endlessly, yet somehow the universe always rewards her in the end.
Obviously there are more than just these two, but these two are everywhere.
Which type do you prefer reading about? Or is there a more archetype you think shows up just as often?
I lowkey prefer the villainess type ngl, because the saint genre is js so gullible
I noticed this too, and honestly this is what made me stop reading fantasy/historical villainess rofan manhwa. （￣へ￣）it gets repetitive, I could read like 3 different historical manhwa and they would all have the same plot, premise, dynamics, what-not… my thoughts on these tropes are, they’re repetitive, boring, and wishy-washy. I think the more you read the more you notice the same patterns and archetypes.
Ikr!! There's just something so satisfying about reading the villainess trope who got sick of being hurt. Meanwhile theres the classic saint FL who forgives everyone, gets betrayed five times, and still goes, "There must be a misunderstanding." Like... girl. PLEASE.
I actually agree. T-T ... I think the more manhwa you read, the easier it becomes wat will happen. Sometimes I can guess the ML, the villain, and even the ending within the first 20 chapters.
I don't mind familiar tropes ig, I just don't like when every series follows the exact same formula with barely any twists. That's usually when I end up dropping it. When it's just like every manhwa ever

Nothing is original, I would read both depending on how the author adds their own twist in the plot, sub-plot, world building and etc. Sadly, adaptations are way too focused on making an adaptation on what's "popular" right now because it sells well.
Fr. Nothing is 100% original anymore in this big year. They has to be copied/inspired from somewhere especially if it guarantees money. But I gotta say the most unforgettable manga (my fav) is very cliché and nothing unique at all. They just have authors who understand pacing and character writing n all important things when it comes to writing a story. (ʃƪ＾3＾)They cook.

Yeah it’s not just you, it’s been happening to me as well for awhile. You can try using a manga reader, that’s what I do to help load panels. Manga pin or tachi manga are both manga reader apps for free

Hi, I don't remember if it was a manga or an anime, but it was about three childhood friends.
The girl liked one of the boys, but he died. I think the story starts after that (I'm not sure). At some point, she tries to kill herself, but the other friend saves her and cries because he can't lose her too (also not sure). Sorry, it's very vague. The only things I remember are that one of the boys dies and the other one likes her and isn't shy about it.

It's a very light read not the best one but not terrible it has some great moments. It's an omegaverse that didn't feel like one and I like that the focus is on the characters as who they are not their secondary traits also the art gets better trust (long post ahead)
As what they say there's a thin line between love and hate and that's how I see Soo-han's feelings towards Yeon-seo.
Past Soo-han hated Yeon-seo for how privilege he is and he has to fight just to get what he wants I believe past Soo-han already cared for Yeon-seo but add that to him being an omega that really tear whatever little affection he have. And in the case of present Soo-han that care and affection he have for Yeon-seo simply resurfaced subconsciously that's why it felt like he fell in love immediately.
Present Soo-han simply expressed his true feelings without his past negative feelings interfering that's why he said that words with Yeon-seo before he fully regained his memories bcs he knows that past him will destroy whatever love he showed towards Yeon-seo and that's not what he truly wants and knowing Yeon-seo's passiveness he clearly said to fight for their family and that's what Yeon-seo did he did what he do best showing Soo-han his love through actions.
As past and present Soo-han slowly merge he didn't fight that much about his feelings but simply accepted it slowly he recognized that his feelings towards Yeon-seo now is what is important not his negative feelings bcs that's not what he wants. What Soo-han truly wants is to have a happy family together with Yeon-seo and have fresh start.
